AWARE will be holding a World Autism Acceptance Event at Bradford City on Wednesday 29th April 2026 from 10am-2pm.
WAAD is a free event (NO ticket required) for families with autistic children or young people (NO diagnosis required!) or people with a connection to autism, and is an unmissable chance to meet a whole host of services including, but not limited to, education and health care, speech and language, social care, sports and activity clubs and much, much more!
If you would prefer to come along at a slightly quieter time, we recommend you attend the event AFTER 12.30 (the event closes at 2pm).
You are more than welcome to bring children with you – we are planning to have a sensory/chillout room that they can access if needed as the event can get busy.
There is some free parking available on site and the surrounding roads but spaces can become harder to find later on in the day. We would recommend coming by public transport if at all possible.
We will have Urdu and Bengali speaking staff/volunteers available.
For any event enquiries, please email info@aware-uk.org
