Do you wish there were groups and activities your child could access and join in with? Do you wish they could have fun with no judgement and pressure to conform? Do you need a safe space as a parent to chat and be understood?
AWARE runs many regular groups and events for children and young people on the autistic spectrum. Our parents tell us that the groups we run give their children opportunities to socialise, improve their social skills and gain independence
We also have a whole host of parent and carer events for you to choose from.
Support groups: We currently run face-to-face support groups in Girlington and – as part of Cafe Eden – Keighley Just turn up; they are free and all are welcome: parents, carers and professionals!
Online: We run weekly Zoom support sessions during term time.
Friday Youth Club – weekly, term time
Trip Club – monthly, term time
Moving On Club – monthly, term time
Saturday Club- monthly, term time
Cook Club – monthly, term time
BEAT meet ups for parents and carers who are part of our pre-diagnosis group
We also run residential trips, holiday clubs in Bradford & Addingham and much more throughout the year.
