Unfortunately, it is common for autistic children and young people to face extra challenges at school compared to their peers. AWARE is a great place to access peer support and advice about education issues. We have a range of help guides which can provide information and direction on what to do to help your child. We also hold Support Group sessions which often cover school issues. Our Zoom ones are recorded to be accessed at your leisure. We also have a closed members Facebook group focused solely on education.
